Fira de Santa Llúcia
Fira de Santa Llúcia
Dates to be confirmed
Source: Ajuntament de Barcelona · read 2 November
The old fair of nativity figures and greenery by the cathedral. The city page we opened was still presented as Christmas 2025, so 2026 dates are not treated as announced.
On 2 November 2026 the city page was still headed as Nadal 2025. No 2026/27 dates are recorded here.
The season
No 2026/27 opening or closing date is recorded here, because none was on an official page we could read on 2 November 2026.
What to notice
- This is a caganer-and-nativity fair, not a northern Christmas market. That is its interest.
- Do not borrow 2025’s poster. The city has not, in the page we saw, replaced it.
What to eat and drink
Unless a sentence names its source, these are specialities associated with the city, not a confirmed menu for 2026. Stall lists change every season.
- The fair is not mainly about food. Barcelona’s Christmas table — canelons, turrón — happens at home and in restaurants.
Planning notes
- Look at the cathedral quarter anyway. Check barcelona.cat/nadal closer to December before you promise someone the stalls.
Getting there
Metro Jaume I or Liceu, then a short walk. The cathedral avenue is pedestrian.
When to go
Unconfirmed. The fair’s tradition is the weeks before Christmas, not January.
