What to notice

• The site places the market around Domplatz, the Mariendom and the Severikirche.
• It names Erfurter Schittchen, a local stollen, and Thuringian bratwurst as what the huts offer, and says there are more than 200 wooden huts. Those figures are the organiser’s.

Unless a sentence names its source, these are specialities associated with the city, not a confirmed menu for 2026. Stall lists change every season.

Getting there

Erfurt Hauptbahnhof, then tram towards Domplatz. The walk is about 20 minutes if you would rather see the old town on the way.

A weekday in early December, early enough that the cathedral façade is still in some daylight.
